new blog, new me

After some very stressful days involving wanting to tear my hair out and binge eating cookie dough, it’s here.

Sophisticaition is officially moved to WordPress AKA my life just got a million times easier.

I could go back and merge all my old blog’s things to this, but I decided that a new start is what’s best in the long run + my sanity in the short term. We are starting over, from square one, and though a lot of people would be extremely freaked out in my position, I could not be more ecstatic.This is a chance to completely reconfigure, redesign, and revamp my blog. I feel like any 20-something with an internet connection has one nowadays, and I didn’t like how cookie cutter the last one felt. It felt forced at times, and I felt obligated to post things instead of wanting to post things. This all ends here and now.

I vow to all of you, and to my beautiful new baby blog, that this will no longer be a chore I have to keep up with. This will be a sincere look into my life, my hobbies, my whereabouts, all complete with my sassy banter. That, at least, will not change.

Hang tight as I still have changes to make and tweaks to perfect, but I cannot wait to go on this amazing journey together
