christmas party perfection

3 more sleeps till I am home for Christmas!!! I am getting so excited that my favorite day of the year is growing closer. Of course, that means I have to decide what to wear. My family has a lot of different parties to attend, and some are more formal / conservative than others. I always try to find appropriate AND appealing dresses so that I feel great but still keep my Catholic family happy (the less skin, the better, ha!). I found this gorgeous wrap dress that is a classic and timeless Christmas look, and, naturally, it is red.

It is super thick fabric, which means not only is it cozy, it’s flattering. The waist line hits me just right, not too high to squish me and not too low to make me look super wide, and all of my well-endowed girls know exactly what I mean by that. Since the dress is relatively simple, I jazzed it up with these polka dot tights – A fun pop of pattern that also keeps me warm in the chilly winter weather.
