Chi Festival Hair with Bed Head Styling

We just wrapped up another fun festival weekend here in Chicago! The weather was perfect, not too hot, and sunny every day ๐Ÿ™‚

I stopped by the Bed Headยฎ Styling Studio before heading to the festival, where I got a rockin’ look to match all the festival vibes!!

We used the Bed Headยฎ Blow Out Freakโ„ขย tool on my hair! If you aren’t familiar… let me tell you about my new secret weapon.

I’ve worked with Bed Headยฎ before and have used their styling products since college, so I was excited to try out this new product!!

No more fumbling with your blow dryer in one hand and a roller brush in the other… the Blow Out Freakโ„ข changes the game. It’s a roller brush AND blow dryer, all in one, meaning your mornings just got way easier.

Things that sold me on the Blow Out Freakโ„ข: it has an oval design so that you can get the maximum volume in your blow out, it heats up suuuper fast, and it gives your hair a fresh-from-the-salon shine!!

Though this is great for taking damp hair into a killer blow out, you can also use this tool on dry hair to restore some volume and shine.

Here are some tips from my Bed Headยฎ stylist on how to Blow Out Freakโ„ข:

  1. Section off your hair.
  2. Leave a section hanging near the base of your neck up.
  3. Wrap the hair around the Blow Out Freakโ„ข, gently pulling the tool out away from your head.
  4. Repeat as necessary to dry that entire section of hair. This usually takes 2 – 7 strokes depending upon the thickness of your hair.
  5. Work your way up, layer by layer of hair, to the top crown.

It’s as easy as that, folks!

I’ve continued to use the Blow Out Freakโ„ข at home this week after washing my hair. I NEVER in a million years thought I could get my hair looking so voluminous and shiny on my own… but I did. It took me about 15 minutes to completely style my damp hair, which is incredible.
