Room Redo: Tomorrow Sleep

As many of you may know, I split (okay, more like 75%/25%) my time between Chicago and Saint Louis for work. I decided that because I am spending at least a week in Saint Louis each month that my high school bedroom needed an update. The first improvement? Upgrading my twin sized bed to an “adult” bed. After opening the mattress box, we rolled the mattress out onto the frame (action photo below) and then cut away at the wrap so the mattress could inflate. It was so cool to watch it grow! It only took around 5-7 minutes before the mattress was at its full size.

Not only did Tomorrow Sleep send me a mattress, but they sent me a comforter and sheets! I was able to make the bed and promptly sleep on it just 20 minutes after unpacking it.

The second I got into bed, my body sank into the mattress, and it was then I knew they weren’t kidding about this being the best hybrid mattress. My mattress at school which is now my Chicago mattress has a foam top, which was a vast improvement from my previous twin sized mattress, but OH. MY. GOD. I do not think I moved an inch the entire night because I was so comfortable!

Turns out I wasn’t the only one who was a fan. Sadie never stays on my bed after I turn off the lights, choosing to follow my mom like a shadow. However, the first night I had the Tomorrow Sleep mattress, she slept with me all night long.

My room sure has a long way to go, but with the addition of a cute (cheap) throw pillows and a new queen sized bed, I think it’s already a vast improvement on the old decor. Stay tuned to see the updates!
