Fall Home Decor on a Budget

Labor Day starts off the fall season, and there is no better way to kick it off than decorating and celebrating! I went shopping this weekend for some fall decor that can fit easily into my apartment and stayed within a strict budget with many trips coming up, and today I am sharing some of my finds with you!

Doormats

My first change for every holiday or season is my doormat. Doormats are easy to swap out and are relatively inexpensive. The ones I see are typically under $30 and you can find even better deals on sites like Etsy. I love how sassy and funny the sayings are!

Pillows

Pillows… can you ever have too many?! I am a firm believer that you can just keep piling them on! I have a pumpkin spice pillow from last fall and just got a “hello, fall” pillow from Target 🙂

Candles

You can make your place smell like fall for as little as $5 with a candle! Whether it’s a spruce forest, a pumpkin spice latte or a pumpkin pie, candles are a very easy way to bring the season in.

Placemats + Runners

I change my placemats pretty frequently as I buy cheaper ones and choose to replace them as they are dirtied. Fortunately, this normally coincides with the changing of seasons! Adding new placemats or a runner is a big change but at little cost.

Mugs

This *technically* isn’t decor, but fall mugs are the cuuuuuuutest. I love having one sitting on my coffee table!

Accent Pieces

Pumpkin EVERYTHING with some “grateful” quotes thrown in 😉 I love the new velvet pumpkin trend going on right now! I just got the polka dot pumpkin for my side table.
