Midi Skirts for Thanksgiving

Time for Thanksgiving Look 2! Note: Right before this shoot, I fell and cut both my knees. I apologize for the scab in the first photo (LOL)

My second outfit idea for Thanksgiving is wearing a midi skirt. Midi skirts are really having a big moment right now! They are defined as skirts that hit in between your knee and your ankle. I think these are great for fall, as they cover more of your skin and keep you warmer. I hate tights, so anything I can do to avoid wearing them is great.

I especially like this skirt because of the pattern and the colors. It’s neutral yet has an extra pop with the red/orange thread! I am wearing a size M.

I paired it with this wrap sweater, also a size M. It’s really cropped, but it hit right at the skirt, so it worked out great! The sweater also comes in a few other colors. I LOVE how it fits!!! I was a bit skeptical when it came in the mail because it looked teeny, but it was fine on.

Finishing up this look are my trusty pair of velvet heels and an older J.Crew necklace. The necklace looked like it was made for the sweater!!

I am going home for Thanksgiving in exactly a week. I am excited to see more of my family and eat allllll the food! Next week, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on this year and what I’m thankful for in 2018, so be on the lookout for that 🙂
