Best Bralettes for Summer
So. Let’s talk about this heat… It’s ridiculous, am I right?! And in this heat + humidity, what is the last thing I want to do? Put on a bra. That’s why I wear bralettes alllllllll summer long! Today I am sharing the best bralettes for summer.

What exactly is a bralette? you may be asking. A bralette is a fabric bra, basically. They’re lightweight and decrease the dreaded underboob sweat that normal bras can cause. They normally do not have underwire, but those with bigger chests still can find supportive bralettes!!! I promise!
In recent seasons, we have seen bralettes become really on trend, sticking out of sweaters, V necks, and crop tops to add to an outfit, instead of just providing the service of an undergarment.
I am all aboard the bralette train. For sizing references – I am a 34D. Here are my personal favorite ones:
Free People Adella Bralette
I am sure you have seen this one ALL over IG – and for good reason! I LOVE this bralette. It’s perfect for wearing with slouchy sweaters, underneath tank tops, etc. because of the gorgeous lace detailing. I wear a size M in this, which allows enough room in the cup while the band is still tight to my body. The Adella comes in like 12 colors last time I checked, which means that there is one that will for sure match your wardrobe.
Topshop Elsa Bralette
This bralette has a little more of a v-neck shape, which makes it great for under v-neck tees, dresses, or blouses. I also love how this comes in navy and blush, because not many bralettes do, and those colors are some of my favorite neutrals. The lace is really pretty and feminine as well. I wear a size 8 in the Elsa, as Topshop does European sizing.
Madewell Swiss Dot Bralette
This is the most similar to your everyday bra, which is great on hot days where you really don’t want to show off your bralette – you just want relief from the underwire!! I have worn this under countless round neck tees, dresses, and sweatshirts. I love the cute little dot pattern as well! The Swiss Dot comes in 3 colors and I wear a size L.
Free People Dream Lover Bralette
This is a bandeau bralette – you probably recognize this from the early 00’s where we were taught to wear bandeaus under shirts to hide our cleavage. You can still use this for that same purpose, or wear it underneath a loose tank. I have even seen girls wear this underneath a kimono with denim shorts! It’s almost like a crop top, but a comfy one! The Dream Lover comes in 3 colors and I can wear either a M or L.
Look hot while staying cool in these bralettes – they’re huge favorites of mine, and I’ve tried a loooooot. Which is your favorite?!
