We saw this fun recipe floating around Pinterest and Facebook a few months ago, so our family decided to try it out (with a few tweaks to our liking). It worked out so well that I decided to share it with you in case you want to make it this weekend!
Ingredients & Materials
- Cast iron skillet
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 3 big or 6 small packages of Peeps
- Graham cracker sticks (for serving)
Preheat the oven to 450
Put the chocolate chips in the bottom of the skillet, spreading evenly
Heat the whipping cream for 30 seconds in a microwave
Pour the heated whipping cream on top of the chocolate chips
Place Peeps on top of the chocolate chip mixture, being sure to fully cover it
Place the skillet into the oven and bake for 8 minutes
After it cools, dig in with your graham crackers!!
The entire thing took about 12 minutes to create and bake!! We loved it because it was an “indoor smores” skillet but without all the mess of the bonfire. Plus, the Peeps made it festive!
Hope you have a happy Easter with your family!
