Erin Condren 2019 Life Planner

As many of you may already know, I am an Erin Condren planner addict. I’ve been using these since 2014 and they got me through college. I am a big organizer, color-coding things and making multiple to-do lists, so the Life Planner works great for me. The best part? It works for less organized people, too. Many people in my family have Erin Condren Life Planners as a result of my endorsements over the years, and some of them are the kind of people you would NOT expect to own a planner. I think that just goes to show how versatile the Life Planner is and how it can fit anyone’s life or needs!

The 2019 – 2020 Life Planners are designed with a kaleidoscope in mind, evident in the geometric shapes found in the pages and stickers. I also got the kaleidoscope cover, though there are lots of new ones that just hit the Erin Condren website that I have my eye on!

Oh yeah – if you didn’t know, all Erin Condren planners come with covers that you can swap out for others at any time. They pop right in and out. I have saved my older covers just in case I want to spice up my planners for the season, or just for something new after a few months! Each cover is fully customizable with colors, names, monograms, etc.

At the beginning of every month, you will find two pages to help you recenter and focus on what’s going on. There’s a section for birthdays, which is SO helpful, and 4 bullet points for major goals. I like this, because it helps me look at the big picture; what REALLY are the important things this month?

I take to filling in a middle section with a quote that resonates with me each month. This July, it’s, “Two things you are in total control of in life are your attitude and your effort.”

The monthly view calendar helps me visualize blocks of craziness and calm. You can see that my weekends are looking a bit busy! As a freelancer, this is great to know when I will be pulling all-nighters and then when I can sleep in and be “out of office.”

There are three different layouts that you can get for the weekly views. I have the vertical, which separates each day into 3 compartments. This could be morning, afternoon and evening – I have some mom friends who divide this up by child!

I myself leave the top section for posts that are going up, whether it’s on this blog or on social media. It’s the editorial calendar part of my personal calendar!

Below that, household tasks or personal events.

Finally, the third section is that day’s work. I separate this from my editorial calendar because the ed cal section is already completed, I just need to hit post, but this project section is full of active tasks.

I love the changes in the new Life Planner and more than ever, I know you will, too!

A group of friends and I are giving away $100 to Erin Condren so that you can get a Life Planner of your own… just head over to my Instagram stories to enter!
