a velvet new years

Hello lovelies! I hope each and every one of you had a fabulous holiday with your family and friends and that Santa brought you all the things on your list 🙂 now that one holiday is over, time to plan for the next! I love New Year’s Eve and getting to dress up is so fun. I am embracing the velvet trend for this look, both the slip dress and the boots are crushed velvet, but I can dig.

This slip dress is warm (shockingly) and flattering. I love the chestnut color I have but it also comes in navy (the one I linked) and I think a pink/off white. I like that the dress is cute while not being super formal, meaning it can be worn to virtually any party! Also, for my well endowed ladies, this shows off enough but still hides the majority of your chest, so no worries about falling out.

My friend Lauren gave me these Kate Spade earrings for Christmas and I am obsessed! I linked a very similar pair with the same shape and sparkle:)

I’ve ranted before about how I love these boots because they GO WITH ANYTHING!!! I also feel so hot and Beyonce-ish in them so I wear them whenever I can. They’re surprisingly comfortable, every time I wear them for a night out I never have to worry about my feet hurting and can keep on dancing.
