Spring Sweaters

If you’re like me and live somewhere where sundresses and denim shorts just aren’t doable yet, it can be hard to feel like you’re getting ready for spring when your weather is stuck in winter. Luckily, there are some cute sweaters that will start to transition your wardrobe while keeping you warm!

In Chicago, we have to have loads of spring sweaters, otherwise we wouldn’t start dressing for spring until May!

I always like to pick fun spring colors for these spring sweaters so that I can wear them on chilly nights even in summer!

I also try to get thinner fabrics so that I won’t be sweating in these toward the end of the season.

Finally, I try to find flattering cuts. Winter sweaters are notoriously baggy and give you no shape, but spring sweaters should hint at your summer body and show off your waist! Twist and tie sweaters are a great option for this.
