My Favorite UK Clothing Brands

I have been taking full advantage of being here in the UK – and that means hitting up some of my favorite UK clothing brands! Good news for y’all is that they all ship to the US so you can love them as much as me 🙂

ASOS

ASOS is one of my favorite online retailers! They have a big US presence but are based out of the UK. I love their buyers’ eye as they stock great stuff at all price points. It definitely is a bit more refined and preppy than other US retailers (I feel like American style is more casual) but never too far outside my comfort zone!

Pretty Little Thing

I first discovered PLT when Kylie wore *the dress* that everyone fell in love with… and then realized it was like $30???

I proudly got *the dress* in a light blue and love it for summer to this day. PLT definitely has some sportier and trendier items than typical US retailers. I feel like I can’t pull off a lot of their streetwear but I LOVE their going out clothes!!!

Primark

I consider Primark to be the UK Forever 21. It’s affordable, it’s trendy, and it may only last one season at the price point, but it’s doable! I always find such great deals. Already this trip, I have purchased an emerald green bag, Slytherin socks (had to) and a really cute rain jacket.

There is actually now a Primark in the US!! It’s kind of a while away from Manhattan in NYC, but if you live in the area, you should check it out IRL.

River Island

It was so cool getting to go to a River Island store for the first time! I normally buy RI online so being able to try things on was a fun experience. I like RI a lot because they have a lot of elevated basics. Tweed skirts, sweaters, tees, fun pants… you name it, they have it!

Topshop

Finally, we have one of the great loves of my life, Topshop. Thank goodness Chicago has a Topshop store and most Nordstroms carry Topshop products, because I would cry not being able to see these babies in person on a regular basis. However, the prices in the UK are SO. MUCH. CHEAPER. I don’t know about you, but a sweater marked as $60 in the US compared to $45 in the UK after pound conversion is almost worth going over to London every month for the deals, right?! But in actuality, it’s so much cheaper to buy Topshop stuff here in the UK in pounds and then have your bank convert it to USD. Let’s just say I have been saving a lot 😉

Which of these brands is your favorite??
