October Favorites
November is officially here! Turkey Day and Christmas are sooooo soon, I can already smell all the cookies baking 😉 today we are revisiting some of my favorite things from the month of October. Let’s dive in!

Velvet Heels
Velvet heels are so fall to me. The rich colors, the luxurious velvet material… something about it is warm and cozy. I love pairing velvet heels with sweaters, dresses, or even just plain jeans to give it an extra oomph.
Business Card Holders
I usually just put my business cards in my wallet, but having a specific business card holder has been a game changer. I feel like an actual #adult. It makes you look way more professional and also keeps your cards from bending in your wallet! I highly recommend to any girl bosses out there.
WinkyLux
WinkyLux is opening in Chicago next week, and they were kind enough to send me a goodie box ahead of the event. I am OBSESSED with the matcha lip balm. It is so hydrating, smells and tastes amazing, and leaves my lips a nice pink.
Plaid Blazers
I am really having a plaid blazer moment. I paired one with an orange turtleneck recently, which was very *fall chic* to me. I predict the obsession will continue long into winter, as they instantly dress up any outfit while serving as another layer of warmth.
Hair Straightener Brushes
I had a bad experience with one of these back as a freshman in college. My roommate let me try hers… and it ruined my hair. Straight up FRIZZ BALL for sorority rush. No bueno. Luckily, I fell IN LOVE with the Drybar straightener brush, and just tried another one while home this week. THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL! They straighten your hair so easily, no frizz, and I can finally get to the bumps on my crown.
Coin Necklaces
Didn’t know how I initially felt about this trend, but I am now fully on board. I just got a necklace with two coins from Vici and I have worn it nearly every day since. I feel like it goes with everything?? I found some other cute ones from retailers 🙂
