Staying Organized in 2019

This post is sponsored by Erin Condren. As always, all opinions are 100% my own. Thank you for supporting brands that make Sophisticaition possible!

How are your New Years resolutions going? I hope they’re going well! We are only 9 days into the new year 😉

Every year, I have found that planning for my resolutions, whether it’s working out more or scheduling me time, has led to greater success – and today I am chatting about the planner that I have relied on to reach these goals (and many more) since my sophomore year of college!

The Erin Condren Life Planner is THE best planner on the market, hands down. It’s fully customizable, comes in 3 different layouts, and has the cutest (and practical) accessories.

I got my first Life Planner as a sophomore in college. I had used other popular brands, but the horizontal space allotted for each day couldn’t fit all my assignments and activities. After some digging online, I found the Erin Condren website, and my life changed. I was able to get a layout that better fit ME and my crazy schedule, which in turn made EVERYTHING so much easier. I still use this same vertical layout to this day!

You are able to select your own cover (and personalize, if you wish) as well as choose to have colorful pages or more neutral. I love the rose gold details on the celestial cover I chose for this year! The best part – if I decide I want a new cover, I can just order another since they snap in and out 🙂

Opening up the Life Planner, you will find monthly overview sections which are great for the quick looks to see if you’re free on this day or that evening. For the weekly view, you get to choose from 3 different layout options. You can get horizontal, hourly, or vertical – click here to view all of them!

As I said above, I use the vertical layout, which allows me to visualize my day by 3 different categories. In college, they were School, Sorority, PUDM, but now, they are Posts, To-Do, Plans. It’s great because all these aspects of my business and personal life are separated!!

I also love adding stickers (included in the back of the planner) to get me more excited about fun plans or milestones!

Another aspect of the Life Planner that I seemingly appreciate more and more every year is the focus on goals. There are multiple spots to set goals for each day, month, year… even into the next year! By writing down my resolutions and other goals I develop over 2019, I know that I will be far more likely to achieve them.

There are also LOADS of accessories you can get to take your Life Planner to the next level. Pens, notebooks, pouches, dashboards… anything that could possibly make your planner better, Erin Condren sells! This year, I invested in some pens for my planner, a notebook, and a Wellness Dashboard. The Wellness Dashboard in particular will help me stay accountable with healthy eating and working out.
