Bye bye, millennial pink, and hello ultra violet! Pantone named Ultra Violet the 2018 Color of the Year. What is this color exactly? Technically, ultra violet waves of light are invisible, but this is a unique shade of purple. It’s not too blue or too red, somewhere right in the middle!

Since this is such a bold shade, I definitely think that you should use it as a statement piece! Pair an ultra violet top with some simple jeans or a neutral skirt, or throw some ultra violet shoes on an all-black look.
