Glossier Chicago

Glossier is one of my favorite beauty brands! It’s female-owned and overall amazing (just look at all the pink branding!). The whole idea behind Glossier is that skincare comes before makeup. I do feel that my skin has gotten healthier and more clear since I began using Glossier products. Before now, I had to buy products online or pick some up from the Soho showroom when I visited NYC – but now through October, there is a Glossier location in Chicago!

The popup is located on 114 N. Aberdeen St. in the West Loop. It’s a few blocks from Randolph, so I recommend getting off at the Morgan stop if you’re taking the train.

The line wraps around the side of the building, so don’t think that you’re walking right in! However, it moved pretty quickly. I was one of the first inside, but I saw girls who got in line right as I was heading inside at 12 checking out around 12:30.

Inside, the space is primarily white. I do love the ceiling tiles and the use of mirrors in the very long and tall area.

One of my favorite parts was that the art was mainly Glossier products with information found on plaques about each one. I learned a lot!

There were 2 “You Look Good” mirrors and you best believe I took my usual selfie in them.

The product displays were similar to those at the showroom, but I did like that the same products were displayed multiple times in the space.

 

Overall, I loved the Glossier Chicago pop up and I will definitely be taking advantage of it while it lasts!

Pro tips:

• card only – no cash!
• I would get there 10-20 minutes before it opens to get in and out easily
• go up to anyone in a pink jumpsuit for questions or to order
• orders are picked up at the back of the store – there are benches you can wait on
• Glossier Solution IS IN STOCK but it’s out of stock on the website!
• there are free stickers and pins 🙂
