Decoding VSCO Filters
I love a good filter. It makes your skin clearer, your smile brighter, and your picture more “finished.” Like a lot of bloggers, I use VSCO filters to edit my pictures and create a cohesive feed. I have seen a lot of bloggers post about how they edit pictures, but I’ve never once seen every filter side by side, compared to one another. I have switched back and forth between a couple and am looking to spice up my feed again, so hopefully this will help us all!
Here’s the idea: I have ONE picture, unedited, above. I then processed it with every one of the VSCO filters I have (some are free, some are paid). Below are the results:
A4
A5
A6
F2
G3
HB1

Hopefully this helped you see how the different filters affect photos and now you can boost your own Instagrams 🙂

VSCO presets are the best! I almost always use them when editing photos for Instagram (when I don’t, I use A Color Story). That said, SE3 is my go-to filter.
Such a useful post!! I think I’m most drawn to P5!

This is so helpful! I seem to have forgotten everything I learned about photography from the class I took in high school!
