What I’m Packing for NYFW

Can you believe how quickly six months has gone by?! I’m already headed back to New York City for the next fashion week!

New York Fashion Week is held in September and February of each year to showcase American designers’ latest collections. When I attended in September, the collections were for spring and summer 2018. This February, I will be seeing autumn and winter 2018 collections!

Some trends that I predict are here to stay for next fall and winter:

  • Faux fur
  • Metallics
  • Velvet
  • Statement earrings
  • Over the knee boots
  • Midi skirts

Stay tuned to see if my predictions are right 😉 but because of this, I wanted to make sure I included those trends in my NYFW outfits. I wanted to definitely stay warm since it is of course winter in New York City, but also look fashion forward. I have gotten a lot more comfortable in wearing trendy pieces since the last time I was in town. In September, I saw a bunch of looks I thought I NEVER could pull off, but as I tell all of you, style is fluid and you can make most anything fit into your personal style, so I have really worked on expanding my clothing comfort zones.

I am excited to work with a number of companies on collaborations this FW, including AKIRA, Physicians Formula and DesignerShare. More details to come soon 🙂

For now, enjoy this sneak peak at my fashion week looks – T minus 36 hours!!!
