Drive on LSD
The trees on Lake Shore turn a pretty shade of orange. Just driving along LSD and taking in the orange hues against the blue lake and the skyline is breathtaking. I suggest going right around sunset for optimal colors!
Lincoln Park Zoo Fall Festival
Located inside LP Zoo, there is a corn maze, ferris wheel, and more! This is more of a kids thing, sure, but since it’s free, it’s worth checking out.
Stock Up on Candy
What is fall without candy?! Check out Dylan’s Candy Bar, Sugarfina, or Sugar Factory to get some sweets. No tricks, just treats!
Visit a Pumpkin Patch
There are many cute pumpkin patches just 30 minutes outside of Chicago. County Line Orchard is my favorite, but if you Google, there are some in any direction you want to drive.
Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up
This is actually new this year, and is located within the city limits. It features a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and arcade games. I loved it, and loved that drinks come with the entry price!
Chicago Haunted Tours
There are a lot of haunted places in Chicago, and there are so many interesting tours you can take to explore the spirit world here! Whether it’s an Al Capone style crime tour or a walking tour around some of Chicago’s most haunted buildings, you are sure to find a spooky time.
